#GoPlaySafe is a mobile app designed to meet the ongoing challenges of social distancing by allowing a golf club to check-in customers safely and securely with the simple press of a button. You can also now check-in clubhouse customers safely and record their contact details with our new wi-fi option.
The app has been developed to work across all golf clubs by delivering a personalised welcome and check-in message using the geolocation or a unique QR code. Golfers download and register their details only once and then use it at all participating facilities.
In addition to enforcing the social distancing rule at check-in,
the #GoPlaySafe app will make it easy for golf clubs to:
Limit unnecessary physical contact between golfers and facilities, eliminating paper or sign-in books.
Allow the frontline workforce to manage the arrival and check-in of all golfers safely, and control access to check-in areas such as the pro shop.
Encourage a simple and speedy check-in process for all customers; demonstrating that their safety is your priority.
Safely monitor all golfer activity without compromising staff, customers or volunteers.
Collect the data of your customers through an efficient, safe and GDPR compliant process now and beyond Covid-19.
HOW DOES #GOPLAYSAFE WORK?
In a golf club booking confirmation email and on the golf club’s website, all players will be prompted to download the #GoPlaySafe app. This call to action will be supported by a national social media and PR campaign making golfers aware of the game’s safe check-in message.
This is a one-time download and the golfer is now able to check-in at all golf clubs.
When visiting the golf club, the app delivers a personalised and branded welcome message, inviting the golfer to check-in via geolocation or a simple QR code scan. Support signage and unique QR codes will be provided.
The check-in is confirmed and the golfer receives a personalised thank you message reminding them of social distancing guidelines.
The arrival and check-in time of the customer is delivered to the golfer and the golf club’s database, providing a real-time view of customer check-in.

1. The person arrives at the clubhouse and is invited to check-in via the golf club’s Wi-Fi service. They will be presented with a fully branded log in scheme and the ability to check in via social media and email address.
2. They will also be invited to opt in to receive marketing information from the club in the future.
3. The club will receive details of their time and date of log in, name and contact email.
4. Club Members need only log in once and will be automatically recognised thereafter. There is the opportunity to present marketing information to Members such as social events, dining offers or reminders of future events.
